It starts at night with a procession of the images of Jose and Mary. The people follow the procession with lanterns to light up, while they arrive at the house that is going to receive the inn.
In general, the inns begin on December 15, lasting 9 days, so that 8 houses are visited and on the ninth day they enter the church where it originates.
People play guitar, chinchines, turtles, singing Christmas carols all the way.
When they arrive at the house, people burn tales, sing, pray and eat toast, tamales, paches, and they drink fruit punch or hot chocolate.
The houses prepare an altar and are decorated with pine and
fruit chamomile to receive the inn.
